We’re Moving

We’re excited to announce Curran Architecture has a new place to call home. This week, the team is packing up our trash paper, carpet samples, and computers and moving to our new building on the east side of Indianapolis.

The office is a former barracks in historic Fort Benjamin Harrison. From the aged brick walls to the exposed rafters, the building is full of character. We love being surrounded by its rich history.

Once we’re settled, we’ll update the blog with photos of our new space, but until then, enjoy this sneak peek of the office pre-renovation.

The project gave us a chance to practice adaptive reuse. As we renovated, we preserved as much of the original structure as possible. We arranged our furniture in an open concept layout, adding just a few walls to create a break room, phone booths, and a materials library.

Although it’s just a few minutes outside of Indianapolis metro, the place feels like a getaway. The sprawling green landscape is dotted with trees, and we’re within walking distance of restaurants and bookstores.

Our phone number (317-288-0681) and fax number (317-288-0753) haven’t changed, but our new address is 5719 Lawton Loop East Drive, Suite 212, Indianapolis, IN 46216. If you’re in the neighborhood or just passing through, stop by to see us. We’d love to say hi!

UPDATE: Images of our completed space!
