Associated Material Handling

After the successful design of an Indianapolis regional office, Associated Material Handling again partnered with us. This time we  created their corporate offices in Addison, Illinois.

The project combined existing corporate offices, Chicago regional offices, and warehouse space under one roof. The result is a 90,000 sf building with 25,000 sf of office and 65,000 sf of warehouse space.

The office area features a two-story exterior, allowing for abundant natural light. The warehouse incorporates a storage for lift trucks, maintenance bays, a parts room, and three truck docks. Truck docks allow for trucks to be completely enclosed within the building. A bridge crane was engineered over these bays to facilitate offloading of lift trucks and transporting them to the maintenance bays. The exterior features precast panels with a tinted, abraded finish, and cast-in cornice treatments.
